Hitachi SK-91

Flagship professional broadcast camera from the early 1980s, built at the very top end of Hitachi’s lineup for studio and field production. Part of the last generation of high-end tube cameras, it’s known for its distinctive Saticon image and unmistakably analog character.

What makes it special is the level of control. Nearly every aspect of the image can be manually adjusted, giving it a hands-on, engineered feel that’s rare even today.
